Union Grove High School Advanced Musical theatre will present their winter showcase performance of The Drowsy Chaperone Jr for one night only on Tuesday, January 14 at 6:00pm. A man (Gavin Moser) shares with the audience his favorite record - the 1928 musical The Drowsy Chaperone. As he plays the record, the show comes to life in his apartment. Mix in two lovebirds on the eve of their wedding (Johnny Johnson and Maddy Brigman), a bumbling best man (Christ Duffey), a desperate theatre producer (Hayden Schneider), a not-so-bright hostess (Christy Martell), gangsters posing as pastry chefs (Piper Daher and Logan Maki), a misguided Don Juan (Timmy Truchon) and a drowsy chaperone (Lillian Peterson), and you have the ingredients for a show that will have everyone laughing. The cast and crew consists of 20 UGHS students who have put together everything from the costumes and lighting to the dancing and sets. The advanced class produces a winter showcase yearly with some students who are brand new to the artform and others that have been involved in other productions at the school and in the community. Students are able to retake the course over and over and participate in different mini-musicals throughout their time at UG. The show is free to attend. The house will open at 5:30 and the hour long show will start promptly at 6:00pm.

🚨 8th Grade Experience Day Recap! 🚨 Today, we welcomed 8th graders from our feeder schools for a day packed with hands-on fun and exploration! 🎉 Our staff and administrators kicked things off, and then students split into groups to dive into activities across various departments.
